Art meets activism event at local gallery coming up

Yesterday a musician friend asked me if I had anything planned for Day 77 of the 100 day project I’m doing. And she also asked if I’ve ever done “live event” art. Can’t say that I have but I was intrigued.
Turns out on April 17th at the Grayson Gallery in Grayson, Kentucky, I’ll be stepping outside of my comfort zone for Day 77. For the art portion of a day of Art Meets Activism. There will be a speaker, Lady D of Beckley, WV, workshops, and music and stories shared from the Appalachian Ladies Revue.
The image here is a prototype for what I envision being in the center of a large canvas banner. I’ll sketch it ahead of time then paint it at the event.
Sketch hands and hearts along the left and right and adults and kids can paint and sign their names.
This is what I have so far. If anyone has any suggestions or advice for a successful community art mural project, (it will be on a large canvas banner), please send suggestions! Thank you.
